That was WIBC host Nigel's take when discussing with co-host Jason Hammer lead attorney for President Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani's apparent inability to keep himself from incessantly stepping in a mess of his own making on a near daily basis.

It's unclear whether Giuliani's latest line of argument is a strategic change in the Trump team's approach to the allegations, or just another pair of freewheeling interviews from the always outspoken former mayor.

President Donald Trump denied Tuesday there was any "collusion" between his presidential campaign and Russian Federation, and declared that "collusion is not a crime" anyway.

"You start analyzing the crime - the hacking is the crime", he said.

The President has repeatedly denied that there was any collusion between his campaign and Moscow, and he told The New York Times in December that "collusion is not a crime".

The president and his legal team continue to deny he was aware of a June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower between top campaign officials and a Russian lawyer offering damaging information about Clinton.

He said Trump's legal team presented its offer for limited questioning of the president to Mueller's team 10 days ago but has not heard back.

"I turned him down to head the Federal Bureau of Investigation (one day before appointment as special counsel) and Comey is his close friend", Mr Trump said. At issue in the investigation or any charges would be whether Trump associates and Russians engaged in a conspiracy to violate USA elections laws, or made illegal uses of the wires to carry out any efforts.

"I don't think Mueller wants to be seen as interfering with the election", he said. 'It's like a guy playing poker.

"Enough is enough, ' Giuliani vented". Even now with his betrayal by taping him he still is anxious about him because he believes he's only hurting himself, ' Giuliani said. 'I can't tell you, ' he siad.

For months, Trump had insisted that there was "no collusion" between his campaign and Russian Federation. Mueller, if he does not like the proposed limits on questioning, could subpoena Trump to testify, setting the stage for a legal fight that could eventually be decided by the Supreme Court over whether a sitting president can be compelled to testify.

He further revealed that he had a "conflict of interest" with Mueller, adding that the two had a "nasty business relationship" and that he had turned him down as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director. Trump has also asserted he didn't know about the meeting. "Now, we've got the Cohen (tapes)". "What it means is I would have had a personal interest, a personal dispute with the President of the United States before the investigation that really precluded me from it". 'Sounds suspicious, doesn't it?' he added.
